Are you an aspiring salesperson with experience in a consultative sales environment and who’s comfortable being the first port of call with new clients?
Do you have a desire to take a growing market and make it your own?
This could be just the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
About the opportunity
As the Sales Account Manager, you’ll work alongside the Managing Director (formerly Sales Director) and have the support of sales, marketing and technical colleagues as you oversee your assigned UK territory, be it north, south, east or west of the UK.
Your focus will be on being proactive with leads and sales enquiries to understand their needs, educate them on the value that your suite of products can bring to their business and work with the wider technical team/suppliers to make their dream a reality.a
In addition to responding to and nurturing existing leads, you will be expected to prospect and make targeted approaches with businesses and individuals who you feel would categorically benefit from the addition of your range.
Your personal and professional development in this business will be limited only by your own aspirations. The senior leaders are totally committed to ensuring that you receive the support and rewards you need and deserve.
You will be a naturally driven and enthusiastic person with experience in a sales role or account management role with elements of prospecting/new business. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in technical sales, but that’s not essential.
It’s vital that you’re naturally inquisitive and open-minded to tackling technical challenges as they arise. You should also be ambitious to grow your career and have the hunger to back up that ambition and make it a reality.
With aspirations to grow their European client base further, knowledge of one or more European language would be advantageous (Italian or Spanish preferable).
What’s in it for you?
- Up to £30,000 (DOE) with flexibility for exceptional candidates
- Annual bonus potential
- Private company pension
- Private healthcare (after 12 months)
- 28 days (inc bank holidays) plus your birthday off and office closure between Christmas and New Year
